Recruiter

Recruiter on Carvana's Operations Talent team handling full-cycle recruitment for on-site Operations groups in Tempe, AZ, with a focus on skilled-level roles and close collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates independently through multiple channels such as social media, Indeed, and the Carvana career site.
• Conduct thorough phone screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
• Provide resumes and screening notes to hiring managers to inform interview decisions.
• Perform talent, role-fit, and culture-fit assessments and advise the business on effective hiring strategies.
• Manage candidate expectations through the background check process, coordinating with applicants and colleagues to enable a successful hire.
• Develop strong relationships with hiring leaders and gain a deep understanding of Operations teams to identify gaps and recommend sourcing approaches.
• Aim for a high conversion rate from interview to offer.
• Contribute to building a stronger company every day through recruitment excellence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience.
• Experience using recruiting applications and creative sourcing methods; familiarity with Greenhouse and Tenstreet is preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate with hiring managers and adjust sourcing strategies to meet team needs.
• Ability to operate with urgency while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
• Comfort with change and adaptability.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.

Important Details

• This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona.
• Upon hire, the Operations Recruiter will begin a required six-month review and assessment period to ensure consistent ability to meet role-specific performance and competency standards.
