Experienced IT Recruiter with 5+ years in agency and high-volume hiring, driving full-cycle IT recruitment in a hybrid setup for Y & L Consulting in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing and pipeline development using Boolean search and niche job boards (Dice, Indeed, GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn Recruiter) to identify passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles such as Cloud Engineers, Data Scientists, and Cybersecurity Specialists.
• Technical screening and evaluation through in-depth interviews to validate coding skills (Java, Python, AWS) and cultural fit before presenting candidates to hiring teams.
• Full-cycle recruitment management from requisition opening and job posting to offer extension and onboarding coordination.
• Offer negotiation, including compensation packages, benefits discussions, and counter-offer handling to facilitate successful closes.
• Metrics and reporting to track time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and conversion rates, using data to optimize hiring performance and share outcomes with leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT recruiting experience
• Agency recruiting background
• Experience in high-volume recruitment environments
• Strong sense of urgency and prioritization
• Detail-oriented with careful attention to process and data
• Proficiency with Boolean search strings and niche platforms (Dice, Indeed, GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn Recruiter)
• Experience conducting technical screening and assessing proficiency in Java, Python, AWS, and cultural alignment
