Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist

Fully remote role supporting hiring for remote, highly skilled positions with a recruiter/talent acquisition specialist who can run the process end to end. You will keep hiring moving with clear candidate communication, structured interviews, and reliable follow-through, while helping build a strong candidate bench for future needs. Flexible hours are available 10 to 20 hours/week during 8 am to 5 pm CT.

What you’ll do

• Keep job posts live, accurate, and up to date on Indeed and other platforms as needed
• Review incoming applications and organize candidates as they apply
• Schedule interviews with candidates by coordinating availability and the hiring team calendar
• Conduct interviews for remote and highly skilled positions, going deeper than a first-round screen
• Document candidate evaluations clearly so hiring leaders can make fast, informed decisions
• Follow up with candidates at each stage to ensure everyone receives timely updates
• Send rejection emails, including warm notes for strong candidates who may be a fit later
• Track candidates and hiring stages in Notion and related internal systems
• Maintain a bench of strong candidates who were not selected but could match future openings

How this role works internally

This role is distinct from the Prescreener position. The Prescreener handles first-round candidate conversations, while this role owns the process around scheduling, interviewing depth, ongoing candidate communication, and closing the loop with candidates who do not move forward.

What you bring

• Application code word: PIPELINE
• 3+ years of recruitment experience, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and running interviews
• Direct experience conducting interviews for remote roles and highly skilled or specialized profiles
• Strong judgment in assessing communication skills, culture fit, and role alignment
• Ability to lead structured, in-depth interview conversations
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Comfort taking ownership with minimal supervision
• Strong organization to manage multiple candidate conversations and hiring stages at once
• Reliable, responsive follow-through from start to finish, not only completing interviews
• Comfortable using Notion as a tracking tool
• Availability for 10 to 20 hours/week within 8 am to 5 pm CT
• Genuine enjoyment evaluating people and energy from identifying the right fit

Not a fit: If your background is primarily customer service, general admin, or scheduling without direct recruiting or interviewing experience.

Compensation and details

• $20 to $25 per hour
