Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify and hire top talent for insurance sales roles, leadership positions, and office management within Connecticut agencies.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidate qualifications.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring managers.
• Create recruiting strategies to attract high-performing professionals.
• Track recruitment activity using CRM and applicant tracking systems.
• Cultivate relationships with candidates and agency leaders throughout the hiring process.
• Represent the organization at networking events, career fairs, and recruiting initiatives as needed.
• Meet recruiting targets while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Requirements

• Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or sales preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with candidates daily.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple open positions simultaneously.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other recruiting platforms is a plus.
• CRM or applicant tracking system experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.
