Talent Acquisition Recruiter

System One is hiring a contract Talent Acquisition Recruiter to work onsite in Geismar, LA, partnering with project teams to meet staffing needs. The role encompasses sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, coordinating site interviews with the hiring manager, and managing employment requisitions while helping shape project-specific staffing plans. This position offers an hourly rate of USD 27 - 29 and requires a Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Identify and screen candidates and conduct initial interviews
• Arrange on-site interviews with the hiring manager to evaluate candidates for project-specific requirements and extend contingent offers in compliance with federal and state law
• Oversee assigned job requisitions, reviewing, editing, and finalizing them for approval
• Monitor and report staffing plan data using programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related databases
• Support the creation and management of Employment Staffing Plans by documenting employment and hiring requirements
• Develop and revise job descriptions aligned with project scope and work
• Lead redeployment initiatives by proactively communicating with employees before anticipated end dates
• Handle the operational and administrative aspects of hires, including background checks, drug and health screenings, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, and site-specific requirements
• Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders to identify, select and hire candidates meeting project labor needs and legal requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Effective use of customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in a team or individually
• Ability to plan, make decisions, and manage priorities/tasks
• Technical skills with standard software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
• Bachelor's Degree
