Talent Acquisition Specialist

East Valley Institute of Technology is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment for professional roles at its main campus in Mesa, AZ. In this onsite, full-time position, you will help bring qualified candidates through an organized, engaging selection process while ensuring required hiring documentation is completed accurately.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop and execute recruiting strategies, conduct interviews and screening, administer assessments, and partner with hiring managers throughout interviewing and selection. The role also includes processing new hire paperwork, including Form I-9, E-Verify+, and a Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment activities to attract high-performing professional talent through a positive and engaging candidate experience.
• Design and implement recruitment strategies to fill open positions by targeting qualified candidates.
• Conduct screening interviews.
• Administer assessments.
• Coach and support hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process.
• Process new hire paperwork, including Form I-9, E-Verify+, and Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing experience.
• Understanding of HR concepts with emphasis on staffing and onboarding processes and interviewing techniques, or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
• Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Prints (IVP) fingerprint card. Applicable Arizona statutes pursuant to Title 15 (Education), Title 13 (Criminal), and Title 38 (Public Officers and Employees) prevail.
• Proof of immunization against, or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.

Preferred Qualifications

• Talent acquisition experience within an Arizona School District.
• Knowledge of Arizona Department of Education requirements for teaching certifications.
• Experience using Frontline Central and the Frontline Recruiting/Hiring System.
• Experience using Tyler School ER Pro (Visions) and ePars.
• SHRM, HRCI, or related certification.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish.

Schedule and Employment Type

• Full-Time, 12 Month Calendar
• Onsite, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Compensation

• $59,797 - $77,138 per year
• Placement in the range will be based on education, industry-related experience, and job-related certification.
