Job Description
Technical Recruiter I position in Wilmington, NC onsite focused on nuclear industry technical roles.
Responsibilities
- Design and iteratively refine recruitment strategies aligned with the technical and operational needs of a large nuclear contract labor organization.
- Plan and run targeted sourcing campaigns leveraging modern recruiting technologies.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including intake, job description creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR to identify skill gaps and workforce needs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage recruitment and promotional budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze year-over-year trends, and prepare forecasts with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and optimize candidate databases and pipelines using Applicant Tracking Systems, with MS Dynamics as applicable.
- Build relationships with industry associations, academic institutions, and professional networks to cultivate diverse talent pipelines.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and labor laws related to safety and operations.
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics to drive process improvements and enhance the candidate experience from application to onboarding.
- Act as an employer brand advocate by communicating the organization’s vision, culture, and values to attract top-tier candidates.
- Represent the organization at recruiting events, networking functions, and industry forums to raise market presence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus relevant professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in military recruitment, with a proven track record of moving candidate engagement to selection for technical or industrial roles; nuclear industry experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and labor market trends in technical or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Experience with HR platforms such as ADP.
- Experience with job recruiting platforms including Indeed and LinkedIn, plus others as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Dynamics.
- Ability to work onsite full-time.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the United States for recruiting events and industry activities.
