Job Description

Glendale, CA (onsite) offers a full-time role for a senior talent leader who wants to influence hiring outcomes and support long-term organizational strength. LAWYERS for JUSTICE, PC provides benefits designed for day-to-day security and performance, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and 401(k). Compensation includes the opportunity for a performance-based discretionary bonus and merit increases, with a salary range of $145,000 to $175,000 per year.

What you will do

As Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for senior-level and specialized roles while shaping workforce strategy to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention. You will collaborate closely with leadership to anticipate hiring needs, build proactive candidate pipelines, and ensure the organization attracts top talent.

  • Drive full-cycle recruitment for senior-level and specialized positions
  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines
  • Strengthen employer branding and improve the candidate experience
  • Partner with external recruiters and staffing agencies, maintaining strong relationships to support hiring needs
  • Develop sourcing strategies aimed at diverse and high-caliber talent
  • Design and implement training programs, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning
  • Work with managers to identify skill gaps and provide targeted development solutions
  • Assess organizational needs and recommend strategies to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention
  • Measure the effectiveness of training and organizational development initiatives and refine as needed

What you bring

This role is designed for a seasoned HR and talent professional who can connect people strategy to business goals and bring structure to recruitment and development work. You will need a foundation in business and strong stakeholder communication, plus experience in organizational development and strategic talent leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communication, etc...
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (MS, MBA, JD) with emphasis in Leadership, Psychology or Organizational Development
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition and/or development, including at least 3 years in a senior or strategic role
  • Preferred: Experience within the Professional Services Industry, with a growth-oriented Law Firm
  • Proven experience in organizational development, training, and/or talent management
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align People strategy with organizational goals
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
