Responsibilities
- Independently source candidates through multiple channels including social media, Indeed, and the Carvana website.
- Conduct in-depth phone screenings and interviews.
- Provide resumes and screening notes to hiring managers to support interview decisions.
- Assess talent, role fit, and culture fit, and advise the business on hiring decisions.
- Manage candidate expectations through the background check process, coordinating with candidates and colleagues to enable a successful hire.
- Develop strong relationships with hiring leaders and gain a deep understanding of the Operations teams to inform effective sourcing and hiring strategies.
- Maintain a high conversion rate from interview to offer.
- Contribute to building a stronger company every day.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle and high-volume recruiting experience.
- Experience using recruiting applications and creative sourcing methods; familiarity with Greenhouse and Tenstreet ATS.
- Proven ability to work with hiring managers and adapt sourcing strategies to meet team needs.
- Ability to operate with urgency without sacrificing accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Comfort with change and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

The Recruiter within our Operations Talent team delivers full-cycle recruitment for the operations departments across multiple sites, focusing on roles within Customer Care, Logistics, Inspection/Reconditioning Centers, Market Operations, and ADESA Auctions, ensuring an excellent hiring experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.

Upon hire, there is a mandatory six month review and assessment period to ensure consistent role-specific performance and competency standards are met.
