Job Description
Based in Bethesda, Maryland with remote flexibility, Marriott International is seeking a FLEX Market Recruiter for a remote, temporary full-time talent acquisition assignment. This role focuses on recruiting for property management positions and building a strong candidate pipeline for Hawaii hotels, working closely with HR and hiring managers to optimize the hiring process and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic recruiting partner to HR and the Hiring Manager by delivering talent mapping, compensation guidance, market insights, and recruiting metrics to improve funnel efficiency.
- Collaborate with the sourcing team to design inventive recruitment strategies and proactively cultivate an A+ talent pipeline across all levels through research, social media, cold outreach, referrals, events, and sourcing campaigns.
- Engage with the hiring manager before posting to identify known candidates, foster referrals, and align on hiring needs and interview strategy.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and evaluating qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth process.
- Facilitate the offer process by creating management offer letters or overseeing offer creation with the coordinator team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates to deliver a positive recruitment experience.
- Promote Marriott International as an employer of choice by highlighting company culture, values, and career opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4 years of work experience
- Masterful negotiating skills that benefit both the company and talent
- Up-to-date knowledge of the hiring market and the ability to leverage data to shape hiring strategy
- Highly resourceful with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

- Experience in an agency recruiting environment
