Job Description

This onsite HR Partner role on Amazon's People eXperience and Technology (PXT) team for AMZL focuses on employee experience, engagement, leadership development, and HR operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a positive employee experience by delivering core programs, upholding workplace standards, and partnering with PXT and Operations to foster a culture where employees feel valued, heard, and supported.
  • Deliver standard HR work with consistent quality and timeliness, meet defined SLAs, and maintain accurate records of HR processes and employee interactions.
  • Provide frontline employee support by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation of employee matters while handling sensitive information discreetly.
  • Facilitate and monitor feedback channels such as roundtables, floor walks, and engagement activities; track issues and follow up with senior PXT teammates to drive improvements in the employee experience.
  • Coach frontline leaders on behaviors that influence engagement and retention; reinforce expectations and guide leaders in using available tools to enhance communication, recognition, and performance conversations.
  • Support site-level engagement, communications, and culture-building initiatives; coordinate logistics, gather feedback, and monitor effectiveness.
  • Learn to track and summarize PXT data including attrition and attendance trends, hiring data, and employee sentiment; help prepare insights for site reviews or team discussions.
  • Promote self-service tools to resolve routine employee and manager questions; identify recurring gaps and escalate opportunities to improve tool usability or adoption.

Requirements

  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience with 1 year in HR generalist work, or an equivalent blend of experience (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, manufacturing).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences, explaining processes, addressing concerns, and providing technical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in HR, Management, Business, Labor Relations, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience in customer service or people-facing roles, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas
  • Proficiency with AI-powered tools, HR analytics platforms, and emerging technologies to derive insights and drive process improvements
  • Ability to train, guide, and support others in using HR technologies and digital platforms, focusing on increasing user adoption and end-user experience
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver in fast-paced environments
  • Experience building partnerships across teams, with adaptability and autonomy
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and navigate ambiguous situations with limited direction
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and policies
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
