Job Description

As an HR Partner on Amazon's AMZL PXT team, you will advance the employee experience, engagement, leadership development, and HR operational excellence while working onsite at an Amazon facility in Woodside, NY. This role partners with PXT and Operations to cultivate a workplace where employees feel valued, heard, and supported, combining frontline support with data-driven people operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support a positive employee experience by delivering core programs, upholding workplace standards, and collaborating with PXT and Operations to foster a culture where employees feel valued and supported.
  • Perform standard work with consistent quality and timeliness, meet established SLAs, and maintain accurate records of HR processes and employee interactions.
  • Provide frontline employee support by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation of matters; handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist in running and monitoring feedback channels such as roundtables, floor walks, and engagement activities; track issues and follow up with senior PXT members to drive improvements in the employee experience.
  • Coach frontline leaders on engagement and retention behaviors; reinforce expectations and guide the use of tools to improve communication, recognition, and performance conversations.
  • Support site-level engagement, communication, and culture-building initiatives; coordinate logistics, gather feedback, and monitor effectiveness.
  • Learn to track and summarize PXT-related data (attrition, attendance, hiring, employee sentiment) and help prepare insights for site reviews or team discussions.
  • Promote self-service tools to resolve routine employee and manager questions and help identify recurring gaps to improve tool usability or adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences, explaining processes, addressing concerns, and providing technical guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in HR, Management, Business, Labor Relations, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience in customer service or people-facing roles with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered tools, HR analytics platforms, and emerging technologies to derive insights and drive process improvements
  • Ability to train and guide others in the use of HR technologies and digital platforms to increase adoption and improve end-user experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in fast-paced environments
  • Experience building partnerships and collaborating across teams with adaptability and autonomy
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in ambiguous situations
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and policies
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
