Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
KMS Solutions, LLC, a Melbourne, Florida based technical management and cyber security firm, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee communications, HR documentation, and general office administration. This on-site role serves as a key point of contact for employees and candidates while helping maintain HR compliance, reporting, and special projects. The position offers a salary in USD 55,000 - 65,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of HR experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, scheduling orientations, and ensuring completion of pre-employment requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for new hires, guiding them on policies, procedures, benefits, and available resources.
- Assist with recruiting by scheduling candidate interviews and coordinating communications with hiring managers and applicants.
- Facilitate security clearance processing with security personnel and candidates, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
- Create, update, organize, and maintain HR forms, templates, records, and documentation.
- Support HR audits, reporting, compliance activities, projects, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Assist with processing employee verification requests and respond to unemployment claims promptly.
- Coordinate HR mailings, including employee notifications, periodic correspondence, and mass communications.
- Administer and track programs such as Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Referral programs.
- Assist with maintaining and updating job descriptions and supporting salary survey activities as needed.
- Serve as office administrator for facility-related items, office supplies, and general administrative needs.
- Provide general customer service and support to employees, managers, and external contacts regarding HR inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 2 years of HR experience including onboarding, HRIS, or related work. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

Position Details
Location: Melbourne, FL (onsite). Work hours: eight hours per day, five days per week with some flexibility and core hours as determined by location and supervisor. This is a full-time, in-office role with occasional travel to CONUS locations. Telework is not the standard arrangement, with exceptions at the HR Director's discretion.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Professional office setting with standard office equipment.
- Physical demands include frequent talking and listening, extended sitting, occasional standing and walking, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Security Clearance & Compliance
No security clearance is required at hire, but the position has the potential to obtain clearance as needed.
