Human Resources Manager
Job Description
The Human Resources Manager role at SIC Enterprise Inc is an onsite position in Fullerton, CA, overseeing core HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records, attendance, payroll coordination, and HR documentation.
- Apply quick thinking and problem solving to advance the long-term objectives of the company.
- Contribute to strategic planning, development, and implementation of key company goals.
- Design and expand departments, identifying missing roles and assigning responsibilities.
- Enhance the HR function by planning, implementing, and evaluating policies, programs, and practices.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay structures to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with California and US Federal employment laws, including OSHA requirements.
- Maintain well-documented, defendable actions for disciplinary actions such as warnings, terminations, and demotions.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Support performance management by training managers to coach, discipline, and resolve grievances.
- Assist in performance management processes with coaching and feedback for employees.
- Provide guidance on HR regulations by reporting to the CEO.
- Coordinate with the attorney team to update legal documents and materials to stay compliant with current laws.
- Conduct quarterly department performance evaluations.
- Participate in general office duties as needed, including filing and administrative tasks.
- Manage HR and Payroll systems, specifically ADP.
- Handle employee insurances and benefits administration.
- Assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A minimum of three years of human resources management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commitment to integrity and professional conduct.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
