Job Description

Hybrid Human Resources Specialist role at Booz Allen Hamilton focused on HR data administration, reporting, Workday support, and cross-functional collaboration within the Workforce Administration team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR reporting, analytics, auditing, and data validation activities.
  • Collaborate with end users to determine HR data requirements and design reports to satisfy them.
  • Serve as the intake point for new reporting requests from business partners.
  • Conduct auditing and data validation, including creating and updating Workday audit reports.
  • Assess ad hoc and reporting requests to identify enhancements for the report catalog.
  • Serve as the primary end-user support for Workday and reporting inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on fiscal year end cutover activities, including rescinding, processing, cancelling transactions, and data validation.
  • Coordinate with the compensation team on annual merit, salary, and bonus cycles.
  • Coordinate Workday release testing for enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Investigate system issues prior to escalating to CIO.
  • Support Talent Acquisition, including merging profiles in Avature and managing select requisitions for TA staff and contractors.
  • Provide user support for Workday performance management activities such as goals, pulse checks, and feedback.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect personal data in all transactions and inquiries per data privacy requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental practices and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Process HR system of record business processes.
  • Develop Power Platform solutions to improve operational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service supporting human resources in HR administration, transactional and data management, and reporting activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task to completion.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with COE partners and business sectors to improve delivery.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Work Model
