Job Description
Onsite in Nashville, this full-cycle recruiting role supports Chesley Brown International by leading the end-to-end talent process for security personnel, support staff, and leadership roles. The recruiter collaborates with Regional and Security Directors to build robust candidate pipelines, verify licensing and credentials, and ensure hiring compliance across a fast-paced environment that runs around the clock.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting roles, sourcing, screening, interviewing, background processing, and onboarding.
- Maintain strong pipelines for security officers (armed and unarmed), supervisory and leadership positions.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to the security industry.
- Verify candidates meet company and client requirements, including licensing, credential checks, background screenings, and state regulations.
- Enter new hire information into the HRIS after an offer is accepted to ensure accurate records.
- Coordinate with the Accounting team to finalize benefits enrollment, payroll setup, and other post-hire processes.
- Keep thorough documentation and communicate with relevant departments to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding.
- Work with Security Directors, HR Generalists, and operations leaders to forecast staffing needs and set recruiting priorities.
- Represent Chesley Brown International at hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach activities.
- Foster relationships with external agencies, workforce development partners, and referral networks.
- Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline activity.
- Partner with leadership to assess turnover trends and retention strategies.
- Suggest process improvements driven by data insights to boost recruiting efficiency.
- Recommend candidates for hire based on qualifications, licensing, and compliance standards.
- Identify sourcing channels and appropriate talent pools for targeted recruitment.
- Extend conditional offers within approved parameters and compensation bands.
- Maintain a strong understanding of recruitment processes, pipelines, and employment branding.
- Assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Utilize ATS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; analytics experience is a plus.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical hiring practices.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally in security, service industries, or high-volume operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Knowledge of licensing, credentials, and compliance requirements for security officers is advantageous.
- Experience with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of recruitment processes, talent pipelines, and employer branding.
- Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to handle multiple requisitions and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with ATS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; analytics experience preferred.

Salary: USD 20–22 per hour
