Job Description

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is hiring a Talent Acquisition Consultant to support end-to-end recruiting for technology roles that align with Huron’s Digital business needs. This onsite position in Chicago partners closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to source, evaluate, and deliver a strong candidate and hiring manager experience across specialized technical areas, including recurring and difficult-to-fill needs.

What you’ll do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interview management, candidate communication, and offer coordination across the United States and Canada.
  • Recruit for a range of technology and consulting skill sets, including CRM, AI, Oracle Cloud ERP & EPM, enterprise applications, and other Digital/Technical capabilities.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand role requirements, skill needs, and business priorities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Use sourcing channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and additional tools to build candidate pipelines.
  • Support consistent, branded job descriptions and recruiting materials.
  • Maintain accurate, timely candidate and requisition information in Workday and other recruiting systems.
  • Manage multiple requisitions and recruiting priorities while remaining responsive and organized.
  • Provide consistent updates to hiring managers on candidate pipelines, recruiting activity, market conditions, challenges, and progress.
  • Use market intelligence and recruiting data to guide sourcing strategies and hiring decisions.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Resource Management, Compensation, Operations, and other Talent Acquisition colleagues.
  • Escalate recruiting challenges when appropriate and collaborate with more senior team members for guidance.
  • Apply Huron’s interview and assessment framework to support consistent candidate evaluation.
  • Review resumes and candidate profiles to assess alignment with role requirements, technical experience, consulting background, and relevant industry expertise.
  • Conduct recruiter screens covering qualifications, career interests, compensation expectations, work authorization, location, and fit for the opportunity.
  • Prepare clear candidate summaries for hiring managers after recruiter screens and support hiring managers throughout interviews by facilitating feedback and decisions.
  • Participate in interview debriefs to ensure candidates are assessed consistently against established requirements.
  • Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience through clear, timely communication on interview progress, next steps, and hiring outcomes.
  • Partner with recruiting coordinators to support interview scheduling and logistics, ensuring consistent communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Represent Huron professionally by communicating the firm’s culture, opportunities, and employee value proposition to prospective talent.
  • Coordinate with recruiters, coordinators, Resource Management, HR, onboarding teams, and business stakeholders to support an efficient hiring process.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition meetings, recruiting initiatives, and process improvement activities, while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling candidate and business information.

What you bring

  • Current U.S. work authorization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment, professional services organization, technology company, staffing firm, or executive search firm.
  • Experience recruiting technology professionals, preferably within enterprise applications, consulting, or professional services environments.
  • Experience recruiting for skill sets including AI, CRM, Oracle HCM, Oracle Cloud, ERP, enterprise applications, or related digital technologies (strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ATS/CRM systems, and sourcing tools; experience with Workday Recruiting is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate recruiting data.
  • Exposure to immigration, work authorization, or mobility processes is preferred.
