Job Description
A contract, part-time Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments, collaborating with HR to source, engage, and hire top talent while supporting offers, onboarding, and candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for open roles across multiple departments
- Post and manage job listings on job boards, social channels, and internal platforms
- Track candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Proactively cold-call passive and active candidates to generate interest
- Develop targeted outreach campaigns to engage hard-to-reach talent pools
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates for current and future hiring needs
- Consistently follow up with prospects to advance them through the recruitment pipeline
- Source qualified candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, resume databases, and networks
- Review and evaluate resumes for role fit and cultural alignment
- Maintain a pipeline of pre-vetted candidates for recurring and anticipated openings
- Utilize Boolean search techniques and sourcing tools to identify top talent
- Schedule and coordinate phone screens, virtual, and in-person interviews
- Prepare candidates with interview details, role information, and company background
- Collect and summarize post-interview feedback from hiring managers
- Communicate interview outcomes and next steps to candidates promptly
- Lead compensation discussions and present offers aligned with pay bands and market data
- Negotiate terms including salary, benefits, start dates, and other components as needed
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure offers are competitive and budget-conscious
- Guide candidates through the offer acceptance process and address questions
- Coordinate with the HR Generalist to support onboarding and pre-employment processes
- Provide regular recruitment updates and pipeline metrics to the HR Manager
- Contribute to continuous improvements of recruitment workflows and candidate experience
Requirements
- Experience in a collaborative HR team environment alongside HR Generalists
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and market data resources
- Proven experience in cold calling and direct sourcing of candidates
- Proven ability to negotiate compensation packages and close candidates effectively
- Knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance best practices
- Proficiency with ATS and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with rapid rapport-building ability
- Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously

Overview
This part-time contract role spans approximately 3 to 4 months. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will drive hiring initiatives by managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, and hire top talent across the organization. The role requires a proactive, results-oriented approach and strong sourcing capabilities.
Working Conditions
- 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in-office, with production area involvement as required
- Standing and walking, occasionally for extended periods, within manufacturing facilities
- Sitting and typing at a computer
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Office environment at a workstation
- Shop floor environment may include elevated noise and temperatures near ovens, with moving equipment nearby
