Job Description

Join GLOVIS America, Inc. as a Temp Recruiter in Irvine, CA. This on-site role centers on full-cycle recruitment for headquarters offices nationwide, with a focus on entry to mid-management roles. You will partner with the HR team and hiring managers to elevate recruitment and onboarding experiences, monitor recruiting trends and metrics, and engage in job fairs and college recruiting events. The position offers hands-on experience with ATS processes, regular updates to hiring teams, and opportunities to influence recruitment policies and practices.

Compensation: This is an on-site, six-month assignment with an hourly rate of $28.00, subject to a compensation study upon candidate selection.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment for all headquarter offices
  • Partner with the HR team and hiring managers to enhance recruitment and onboarding experiences
  • Manage requisition flow and applicant screening, providing guidance to hiring managers and leadership
  • Collaborate with the GUS Recruitment team to monitor and manage full-cycle recruiting for all headquarter locations
  • Summarize screening results and recommend candidates to hiring managers
  • Create complete and accurate hiring packets and submit them for approval in a timely manner
  • Create offer letters, collect candidate acceptances, process background checks, and schedule drug screenings
  • Source and attract top candidates using databases, social media, and marketing strategies
  • Post, source, screen, and interview candidates (virtual and in-person where applicable)
  • Educate, counsel, and advise HR and hiring managers on candidates
  • Provide solutions and recommendations on hiring policies and practices
  • Send weekly or biweekly updates to hiring managers on position status
  • Send new hire announcements to required personnel at least one week in advance (or ASAP in special circumstances)
  • Assist with ATS implementation, maintenance, end-user training, and process efficiency
  • Collaborate with recruiting and HR teams to provide quarterly metric data to executive-level personnel
  • Assist in updates to the Recruitment Dashboard
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Participate in job fairs and college recruiting events, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate PC skills including experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Monitoring of metric data and process efficiency
  • Excellent time-management and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Minimum 1 year of recruiting experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

Working and Environmental Conditions

This position is located in the Irvine, CA office in a typical office environment with low-level noise exposure. Communication with employees and field partners is primarily via phone and email.
