Continental Service Group LLC is seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment activities and onboarding support on-site in Fairport, New York. This temporary role offers a rate of USD 30 per hour with potential for permanent hire based on business needs.
Role Details
Location: Fairport, NY (onsite). Employment type: Contract. Compensation: USD 30 per hour. Education: Bachelorβs degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum experience: 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference and background checks, conflict of interest verifications, and onboarding to meet corporate goals.
- Engage in the employment lifecycle activities such as onboarding, policy familiarity, benefits administration, payroll, training and development, and exit procedures including unemployment processes.
- Propose and implement recruiting policies and practices to establish a robust hiring process.
- Audit applicant and employee records to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Initiate background and conflict-of-interest verifications to confirm candidate eligibility.
- Create and manage recruitment advertising materials and track their effectiveness.
- Represent the company professionally in community settings.
- Maintain communication with candidates, provide feedback, negotiate offers, and serve as the primary contact for applicants.
- Assist with new hire orientations and post-orientation follow-up activities.
- Create and maintain employee records in the HR information system (HRIS).
- Ensure accurate and timely input of applicant and employee data.
- Generate reports and analyze data to support HR decision-making.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, printing, faxing, emailing, and copying.
- Support the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department.
- Collaborate with all levels of management.
- Adhere to the companyβs Blueprint Quality Management System, Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.
Requirements
- Talent Acquisition or Recruitment background with broad knowledge of employment law, talent sourcing, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, affirmative action plans, and training and development preferred.
- Minimum one year of HR Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, persuade, and negotiate.
- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel and represent the company at job fairs, conferences, events, and in the community.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
- No conflicts of interest with the company or its clients.
