Job Description
ACCRA-FAB INC is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead staffing, onboarding, training, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. This onsite role in Liberty Lake, WA supports a collaborative, high-performing team by implementing HR programs that align with business objectives and industry requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, interviewing, and presenting offer packages.
- Collaborate with company leadership to determine staffing levels that support strategic goals.
- Coordinate onboarding initiatives to integrate new hires smoothly into the culture.
- Oversee and be responsible for the University of Accra-Fab and all training and development programs to ensure organizational goals are met.
- Ensure training is documented and tracked accurately in the LMS.
- Oversee the implementation of all medical-related benefit plans and identify cost-effective options.
- Research and evaluate new benefit plans to meet employee needs while controlling costs.
- Conduct open enrollment to ensure compliance across the workforce.
- Administer the company’s 401(k) and PTO plans and communicate their overall value.
- Oversee performance review and compensation programs.
- Develop and maintain the safety program, ensuring safety orientation for new hires and ongoing trainings are tracked.
- Administer all Labor and Industries claims in collaboration with a third-party administrator.
- Ensure timely and accurate city, state, and federal reporting requirements are met.
- Follow best practices and propose improvements to HR processes and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements and update related procedures as needed.
- Create and update procedures and work instructions.
- Encourage continual rapid improvement across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in a general HR role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence for handling sensitive workforce topics.
- Strong conflict-resolution, decision-making, and critical-thinking capabilities.
- High proficiency with HRIS software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
