Job Description

Orthopedic Pain Management in Encino, CA seeks a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations onsite within a busy medical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Drive talent acquisition for clinical and support roles by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding using effective HR sourcing strategies and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws including FMLA, OSHA, workers' compensation, and related regulations across HR practices.
  • Administer benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, using HRIS platforms like Workday or ADP for accurate data management.
  • Lead employee orientation, training and development initiatives, and succession planning to support growth and organizational stability.
  • Oversee payroll processing with ADP or Paylocity, maintaining accurate performance documentation and contributing to performance management processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising HR teams within a healthcare or medical practice setting.
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, workers’ compensation procedures, and benefits administration.
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, program management, and strategic planning.
  • Experience managing contracts, HR budgeting processes, and implementing policies aligned with organizational goals.
