Job Description

The Human Resources Supervisor at KAC leads HR operations, talent management, employee relations, and compliance from an on-site location in Portland, TN. This full-time role offers a salary in the range of USD 60,000 - 66,000 per year and requires a Bachelor’s degree along with at least two years of supervisory HR experience.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the HR team to deliver comprehensive services including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Oversee orientation programs to support smooth onboarding and reinforce organizational culture.
  • Manage employee relations by promptly addressing conflicts, applying conflict resolution strategies, and investigating misconduct when needed.
  • Administer benefits, process payroll via ADP, and ensure compliance with employment laws such as FMLA, OSHA, and workers' compensation.
  • Lead organizational design initiatives and coordinate change management projects to support strategic planning and process improvements.
  • Conduct regular employee evaluations and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Proven supervisory experience in an HR environment with a strong understanding of HR compliance management.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment and labor law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent management, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills for HR leadership roles.
  • Experience supervising HR teams across recruiting, training and development, performance management, and program management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity, including employee evaluations and misconduct investigations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in HR.
