Job Description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for Sony Music Publishing (US) LLC leads recruitment strategies across the Americas, collaborating with executives and the People Experience team to align hiring with workforce planning. This role is based in New York, onsite.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for roles across all business functions, from intake through offer acceptance.
- Collaborate directly with C-suite executives, Vice Presidents, Directors, People Experience Business Partners, and business leaders to understand priorities, workforce planning needs, and hiring strategies.
- Manage complex, confidential, and business-critical searches across multiple functions and levels.
- Recruit for positions ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership in Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Information Technology, Marketing, Creative, Administration, Operations, Copyright, Business Affairs, and other corporate areas.
- Serve as a trusted talent advisor by providing market intelligence, compensation insights, talent mapping, competitive hiring trends, and strategic recruiting guidance.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-quality active and passive candidates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leaders, hiring managers, and external talent networks.
- Lead hiring strategy meetings and advise interview teams on evaluation and selection best practices.
- Cultivate proactive talent pipelines to address current and future organizational needs.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support Talent Acquisition and People Experience initiatives, including employer branding, workforce planning, process optimization, recruiting technology, reporting, and other strategic projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in an in-house corporate setting.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Experience hiring for executive, senior leadership, and highly specialized roles.
- Track record of managing multiple complex and confidential searches concurrently.
- Strong consultative approach with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders (VP level and above), including the capacity to push back, set expectations, and influence decisions.
- Advanced sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, networking, and executive search techniques.
- Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Workday.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience recruiting across the United States, Canada, and Latin America (LATAM) with knowledge of regional labor markets and cross-border recruiting practices.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Some travel may be required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work a 7.5-hour business day; occasional evenings or extended hours may be necessary to support business needs.
- 4 days per week in office presence required (Monday through Thursday) at the New York office.

Compensation and Work Details
Compensation includes an anticipated base salary range of $73,800 to $105,400 per year. This range excludes other compensation components or benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The final base salary offered is determined by factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and the applicant's location. The role is onsite in New York, with four in-office days per week (Monday through Thursday) and some travel as needed.
