Job Description

Blackstone Law Firm offers a hybrid Beverly Hills based work model and a position that emphasizes strategic impact on talent across California and expanding multi-state markets. In this Talent Acquisition Manager role, you will partner with firm leadership to attract attorney and staff talent, shaping the full-cycle recruitment approach with a focus on a professional candidate experience and alignment with the firm’s mission. The compensation starts at USD 100,000 per year, with bonus eligibility and a compensation structure commensurate with experience, alongside a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with firm leadership to define hiring needs and craft role-specific recruiting strategies across California and the expanding multi-state footprint.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and conducting virtual interviews.
  • Source and engage passive candidates for attorney and litigation support roles via networking, referrals, legal recruiting platforms, and direct outreach.
  • Build and nurture relationships with law schools, legal recruiting agencies, and professional associations to sustain a robust talent pipeline.
  • Track trends in the legal recruiting market, including attorney turnover and market shifts, using AI-powered tools to identify opportunities proactively.
  • Partner with specialized recruiting agencies to fill niche positions, managing relationships to ensure candidates meet firm standards.
  • Develop and refine job descriptions, interview rubrics, and evaluation criteria with input from hiring attorneys.
  • Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience aligned with the firm’s reputation and mission.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and provide regular reporting and recommendations to firm leadership.
  • Stay informed on employment law recruiting trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices across Los Angeles and broader multi-state markets.
  • Support broader HR functions as needed, including onboarding coordination and employer branding initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, ideally within a law firm, professional services, or legal industry setting.
  • Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting for both attorney and staff roles.
  • Strong understanding of legal industry hiring practices, credentialing, and candidate evaluation.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate closely with attorneys and firm leadership.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities concurrently.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential candidate and firm information.
  • Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment while staying connected to a small team.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Full cycle recruiting: 4 years required; legal experience: 2 years preferred.
