Job Description
Automodo is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy in Indianapolis. This onsite role focuses on cultivating an inclusive, high-performing workplace while steering workforce planning, talent development, and organizational culture in a growth-driven environment. The position collaborates with leadership to attract, retain, and empower top talent across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute human capital management strategies aligned with company objectives to maximize performance and engagement.
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and new-hire orientation, to attract top candidates.
- Administer performance appraisal programs and development initiatives that foster career progression and skill-building.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and safety regulations, including FMLA, OSHA, and workers' compensation requirements.
- Steer change management during restructures or process improvements to facilitate smooth transitions across functions.
- Oversee benefits administration and the HR technology stack, including HRIS such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro; payroll systems like ADP or Paychex; and related platforms.
- Foster constructive employee relations through conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and clear communication practices.
- Lead strategic HR planning encompassing organization design, succession planning, affirmative action, and overall workforce management to support sustainable health of the organization.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record in HR leadership with solid grounding in human capital management.
- In-depth knowledge of employment and labor law compliance, including FMLA and OSHA.
- Extensive experience in recruitment, performance evaluation, learning and development, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS solutions such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro; familiarity with applicant tracking systems like iCIMS or Taleo is highly desirable.
- Strong project management abilities with the capacity to drive cross-team change initiatives.
- Excellent communication and the knack for handling sensitive matters with tact.
- Experience with payroll platforms such as Paychex or ADP.
- Experience overseeing contracts and data collection processes is advantageous.
