Job Description
Reliable Tire Disposal, based in Burnet, Texas, is seeking a seasoned HR leader to steer its people operations on site. The Human Resource Manager will design and implement HR strategies, manage employee relations, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee recruitment, performance management, training, compensation, and benefits to align with business goals. The role is on-site in Burnet and offers a salary of USD 50,000 per year, with a minimum of three years of HR experience required.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Manage the full cycle of recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Oversee employee relations and address workplace issues professionally and confidentially.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Administer benefits, compensation, and leave programs.
- Coordinate performance management processes, including evaluations and development plans.
- Identify training needs and organize professional development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
- Advise managers on performance, disciplinary actions, and workforce planning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
- Monitor employee engagement and propose initiatives to improve retention and morale.
- Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support organizational decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive human resources experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- A professional HR certification is preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and labor regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
