Job Description
GNO Partners is building a growth consultancy focused on Amazon brands, and this role is the first dedicated recruiting hire. You will establish the end-to-end recruiting function from scratch, owning how candidates are sourced, progressed, assessed, and converted into offers.
This is a true standalone recruiting operation: you will design the funnel, manage the tooling and processes, and partner directly with the firms’ leaders to set KPIs and improve outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Own recruiting end to end, including role kickoff, job description creation, sourcing strategy, screening, interview loop design, and offers, with accountability for your numbers.
- Build target lists, run LinkedIn and email outreach sequences, and get senior Amazon operators onto calls even when they were not actively looking.
- Screen 20–30 candidates per month and deliver a shortlist with a written recommendation rather than a forwarded CV.
- Configure ATS stages, scorecards, templates, automations, and reporting, ensuring the data quality is strong enough for decisions.
- Brief agencies and headhunters, hold them to SLAs, and phase them out where the team can execute more effectively in-house.
- Maintain a standing pool of pre-qualified, warm Amazon talent so searches do not start from zero.
What you bring
- 4+ years in recruiting, including at least two years where you ran roles full-cycle yourself (not sourcing support or coordination).
- A mindset that tracks results by numbers such as reply rates, stage conversion, time-to-hire, and offer acceptance, with the ability to discuss your funnel without looking anything up.
- Proven outbound strength, including building lists from scratch and writing sequences that generated replies from senior professionals who were not job-hunting.
- Hands-on ATS ownership, not just usage. You can configure a modern ATS, with Breezy experience as a plus.
- Excellent written English, with outreach that reads like it was written by a person.
- Comfort running recruiting as the whole function without an HR department above you.
Tools you’ll use
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- Apollo
- Clay
- Boolean and x-ray search
- AI sourcing
- Breezy ATS
Compensation and incentives
- Base pay: USD 3,500–5,000 per month, depending on experience and location.
- Per-hire bonus: paid on every hire that passes 90 days, scaled by the seniority of the seat.
- Quarterly performance bonus against agreed KPIs including time-to-hire, retention, cost-per-hire, and shortlist quality.
- On-target earnings: approximately USD 50,000–120,000 per year.
- You will also have a real hiring budget and the tooling needed to do the work properly.
Strong plus
- Experience hiring for Amazon, e-commerce, performance marketing, or digital agencies (for example: PPC managers, brand managers, marketplace ops, agency consultants).
- Agency or headhunting background.
- Fluency across sourcing tooling such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Apollo, Clay, Boolean and x-ray search, and AI sourcing.
- Working hours with solid overlap with Central European Time and US Eastern.
Location
Remote (remote).
How to apply
- A written questionnaire is attached to the application; every answer is read.
- A short video questionnaire is part of the process.
- A practical exercise is included.
- Interviews are with the partners.
- The process runs about five weeks.
- GNO Partners replies to every applicant.
