Ontech Talent is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting for its Milwaukee area teams in a hybrid work setup. This role collaborates with leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, craft effective recruitment strategies, and attract top talent while advancing the company’s employer brand and candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with leaders, hiring managers, and staff to execute the overall recruiting strategy.
- Develop and update job descriptions and specifications.
- Perform job and task analysis to document requirements and objectives.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post roles to relevant boards, newspapers, colleges, and campuses.
- Sourcing and recruiting candidates through databases, social media, and other channels.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews using structured, competency-based, and other reliable methods aligned to schedules.
- Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
- Onboard new hires to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Provide analytical, well-documented recruiting reports to the team.
- Serve as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Promote the company’s reputation and employer brand throughout the candidate experience.
Requirements
- College degree required; an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or a similar field is acceptable.
- Proven work experience as a recruiter, either in-house or with a staffing agency.
- Strong ability to conduct different interview formats (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video and phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.).
- Ability to organize skills assessment activities (in-tray tasks, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.).
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software and HRIS/HRMS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong decision-making ability.

Physical and Mental Demands
The role requires typical office-based activity. Employees may sit, talk or hear, and use hands to handle objects. Standing and walking are expected at times, with occasional stooping, bending, or reaching overhead. Lifting up to 30 pounds may be required, and vision requirements include multiple functional capabilities.
Working Environment
The position operates in a normal office setting with a moderate noise level. You will interact with a variety of people and personalities, with the possibility of extended periods of sitting or standing. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds may be needed.

Compensation
Annual salary in the range of $50,000 to $60,000 plus a generous commission structure.
Experience
5 years of Talent Acquisition or RPO experience preferred.
Location & Availability
Hybrid remote in Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53224. On-site presence in Milwaukee as needed.
