Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, applicant communications, assessments, interviews, and new-hire onboarding.
- Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries related to benefits.
- Assist with workers' compensation administration and leave management activities.
- Maintain HRIS and personnel records, upholding confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and employment documents.
- Contribute to classification and compensation analyses, employee engagement efforts, wellness initiatives, and special projects.
- Deliver responsive customer service to employees, supervisors, applicants, and the public.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university (required).
- Two years of clerical, administrative, or technical experience, preferably in a human resources or public sector environment.
- Valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
