Strategic Human Resources Manager leading People & Culture and Environmental Health & Safety across the United States and Mexico, shaping culture, developing people strategies, and ensuring compliance across multiple locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute local people strategies aligned with business objectives and global initiatives.
- Embed accountability, ownership, and collaboration to strengthen culture throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with leadership to advise on talent, performance, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead talent management initiatives to ensure the right people are in the right roles for long‑term success.
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement programs.
- Oversee all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and professional development.
- Develop and refine HR systems, policies, and processes to drive effectiveness and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations across multiple U.S. states and Mexico.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address HR matters affecting staff and business.
- Lead the EHS function and promote a culture where safety is integrated into daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workplace safety and operational performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience leading people, culture, HR, or business operations within a complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and workforce management practices.
- Experience leading teams, building processes, and driving organizational performance.
- Ability to influence leaders, manage change, and make sound business decisions.
- Experience supporting organizations across multiple locations or jurisdictions preferred.
- Spanish language proficiency is a strong asset.
