About Us
Tri State Gate is a familyβrun company specializing in custom gates, fences, and gate automation. We operate with a small, tightβknit office team where everyone knows each other by name within the first week. As we continue to grow, weβll hire across office staff, customer service, skilled trades, and field technicians, and this new role sits at the center of that expansion.
The Role
You will be our first inβhouse recruiter, owning the full recruiting lifecycle from posting to start date. In addition to screening applicants, phone interviews, coordinating with managers, and checking references, you will keep strong candidates warm for future openings. Between active searches, you will develop the recruitment engine: an employee referral program, relationships with trade schools, and hiring content that illustrates what itβs like to work here.
What Success Looks Like
- In your first 90 days: open roles have healthy candidate pipelines, screening and scheduling run smoothly, and you have secured your first hires
- In 6 to 12 months: every key role has a warm bench behind it, the referral program is producing, timeβtoβfill is decreasing, and there are no outside recruiting fees
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, agency or in-house

- Comfort with job boards, spreadsheets, CRM, and ATS
- Social media and content skills are a real plus
- Direct and insightful communicator who shares candid assessments
