Integrated Resources Institute supports meaningful work through strong people operations, and this onsite Human Resources Coordinator role helps keep HR processes accurate, efficient, and aligned with organizational standards. In this position, you will manage recruiting and onboarding from start to finish, coordinate New Hire Orientation, and support HR compliance and reporting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $26.00.
What you’ll do
- Run full-cycle recruitment, including posting roles on job boards, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screening interviews, and facilitating reference checks.
- Partner with Support Managers and other leadership to identify staffing needs, support workforce planning, and ensure hiring aligns with organizational demands.
- Maintain accurate applicant records in Paycor, ensuring required recruitment documentation is completed and compliant throughout the process.
- Track open positions using Excel recruitment spreadsheets, capturing staffing needs and aligning candidates with the appropriate manager based on the needs of the individuals served.
- Ensure hiring activities follow federal, state, local, and organizational policies.
- Produce recruitment updates for leadership, including metrics on candidate pipelines, hires, and open positions.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities, reflecting IRI’s mission, vision, and values with candidates, employees, and external partners.
- Manage new hire onboarding end to end, including issuing offer letters and pre-employment documentation and ensuring background checks, DMV records, drug screenings, and live scans are completed accurately and on time.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding, providing timely communication, clear guidance, and personalized support.
- Oversee onboarding documentation and personnel records to ensure they are organized, accurate, and compliant while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager, Training Manager, and hiring managers to coordinate NHO schedules, start dates, and training needs.
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation: attend in-person sessions on Tuesdays and conduct remote sessions as needed.
- Support initial system setup and training, including access to Paycor, eRSP, Microsoft platforms, benefit enrollment, and learning modules.
- Confirm orientation completion and coordinate next steps by tracking required training progress and communicating with new hires, training teams, and managers.
- Maintain HR record integrity by ensuring personnel files and HR systems stay accurate and up to date.
- Maintain an organized calendar for pre-screening interviews, NHO sessions, recurring team meetings, and check-ins with the HR Manager and leadership.
What you bring
- Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating onboarding processes, managing full-cycle recruitment, or supporting HR operations.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms (Paycor experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates, employees, and managers.
- Excellent organization, calendar management, deadline tracking, and attention to detail for compliance and record accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and online meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom).
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations and the ability to apply them in daily HR practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Work setting and physical demands
- Work environment: Office (2x per week at 16340 Roscoe Blvd, Suite 200, Van Nuys, CA 91406), community work settings, home as assigned for remote work, and outdoors with varying weather conditions.
